'Canes All Around

It's great to be a Miami Hurricane! This year's college football season promises to put The U back at the top of the college football world, and your Cincinnati Alumni Club wants you to be a part of it all. Born a little more than a year ago, our Club is proud and growing.

Our most popular group activity are our game watch parties, where you can watch UM play, eat, drink, and be surrounded by others who share your love of Miami. Consider it Coral Gables-North. Below you will find the list of scheduled games this year. Please note, the game this Thursday night against FAMU is not televised, and therefore we will not have a game watch. Also, no game watch will be held for the Ohio State game. Instead, please join the Club in Columbus. Here are the details: http://www6.miami.edu/alumni/events/pregames.htm The early word is there will be a lot of orange and green at The Horseshoe on 9/11 as Miami looks for payback from the 2002 Fiesta (Fiasco?) Bowl.

For our game watch parties, we have changed our venue this year. We are pleased to now be at Toot's: http://cincinnati.toots.com/index.php They are located on Montgomery Road in Loveland. This is very close to Fields Ertel, Mason, I-71, and should be convenient for most everyone. They are very pleased to be hosting us, and will be offering us a private viewing area, food and drink specials, and much more. Please join us for the first game there, Thursday night, 9/23 vs. Pittsburgh. Even if you can't stay for the entire game given that it is a weeknight, stop in for dinner and the first half. Our game watch events are open to alumni and non-alumni, friends, family, fans, etc.

Football not your thing? That's fine, our club does many other activities as well. Club education events, community service, just to name a few. Please join more than 250+ alumni in the Cincinnati area for one or all Club events.
